    d. None of the above.
I don’t really love it because I think traditional wedding cakes are really very pretty. However, if you had a traditional cake and then something else with cupcakes, maybe. I know that wedding cakes don’t always feed all of the guest and some people go with sheet cakes to make up the rest. You could insert cupcakes there.
But hey, that’s my style. Your wedding is all about you. Make the spice your flavor. :)

We can have more than one right : ) ? I agree with above comment…maybe groom’s cake could be cupcakes. traditional wedding cake is nice. However it’s your day so it’s eventually up to you!

Have you heard of the cakes that are just decorated styrofoam? I think you can rent them and the only real part is the top that you will cut and feed each other. They are really pretty. I think my friend did one in St. George when she got married. If you are interested I can see who did it for them. That way you could have a wedding cake but not have to eat it. Also, If you are wanting to go with a fondant cake because they are pretty and smooth, the fondant never really tastes that great, so you could go with the fake cake and then delicious cupcakes.

I like the idea of cupcakes and I think the idea fits your and Sam’s personalities. Dang it, now I want a cupcake.

P.P.S. If you do go with a real cake, I like the idea of doing more than one kind of cake, a different flavor per tier. Of course, you could always do that with cupcakes too.

Well, looking at this one with the birds on top and your last post about ruffled feathers, I don’t think I could make a decision right now… :)

But really, like other comments, I like the traditional cake, but cupcakes in addition to the cake would be great. Also, it’s not quite the same “cutting the cupcake.”

I don’t like the cupcakes. It’s too 5 year old birthday party for me. But I DO WANT CAKE. Make no mistake about that. However, I like Carrie’s idea about having a groom’s cake with cupcakes. :)

I have seen some cupcake cakes that are gorgeous. They are probably less expensive. I have a friend here in St. George who makes cupcakes that are to die for. (She and her husband own a cafe on Main street that is famous for its cupcakes).
