So my last bird experience (see my post entitled “Ruffled Feathers”) inspired me to share my first Dallas Discovery.

There are CRAZY bird migrations here!

I’ve never seen anything like it before. It’s the sure sign of fall…you walk outside, the leaves crunch, and you see this:

Aside from the bird kaka EVERYWHERE and the imminent threat of getting dropped on, they are actually quite fun to watch. When they fly, they move in very large packs and it reminds me of watching a school of fish swimming in the ocean.

So there it is.
