Most Common Pet

With all my wishing and hoping for a pet dog, I thought that today I’d blog about the most common backyard companion in Texas…

Ick! Every time it rains in TX another dozen hills pop up in the yard.

And they NEVER die – they just migrate from one spot to the next.

This year has had alot of ‘firsts’ for me – including my first ever fire ant bite. That lil bugga hurt like no other too!

Kill the ants!!!

Hey A–A1′s friend Sarah here. I have scars from some of those bites. We basically live in a big field now and so they are a constant problem. The only thing that has ever worked for me is the Borax/sugar mixture you can find online. When we lived in more of a neighborhood, I would use it in early summer and have no problems the rest of the season. I use it more frequently here, but again, more ground to cover! Good luck.
